Lauren and her friend Whitney were "the sun" in the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song. Too cute! The program was Rockin' with Mother Goose and Friends, and they did remixes of Mother Goose Rhymes.

Jared was the second leg of the 400m relay for his class. He is in the closest lane wearing blue:



Since Kindergarten, I don't think his class has ever won tug-o-war! Until now!! This was the final victory:

Hello?? This is Lindsey!

Where has my little baby gone? All of a sudden, there is this little person walking around my house wanting to read books and talk on the phone! She understands more and more each day. Lately, she is loving her nursery rhyme book and will do the hand motions to patty cake, itsy bitsy spider, and even grab her feet for this little piggy when she sees the page. She still loves ducks and dogs and has recently started playing with her "See 'n Say" that makes all the animal sounds. She says "hi" and waves to people. She knows about getting her shoes on to go outside and gets very excited if you mention a bath! She has started drinking regular milk, and is eating everything in sight! She points her index finger into the palm of her hand, which means "GIVE ME MORE!"


















She loves to dance and listen to music. She will get in moods where she just laughs and loves to be silly! She also really LOVES her big brother and sister. Last night we went to an awards ceremony for Jared and Lauren's AWANA club. Lindsey saw Jared across the room, and started waving to him. It was sooo cute! I am just so blessed and thankful for my littlest gift from God!! Even if she's not going to stay little for as long as I'd like!

Happy First Birthday, Lindsey!!

We had a family celebration in Houston over Easter weekend. She liked her chocolate cupcake!

It also looks like she was pretty excited about her gift from Aunt Laura!! Aunt Leslie gave her the tutu and hat...so precious! And Mimi gave her "My Pal Violet"- a little dog that says her name. She loves it!











































































Thursday, April 15th: We had a little party at home with a few friends, pizza, and cake. Mmmm!
